Quality Assurance

The Management of LMT Surgical assures that quality is fundamental to all aspects of our business.

LMT Surgical hold a current “Certificate of Registration” with BSI Management Systems and operate a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. LMT Surgical were recently successful in regaining certification after completion of the triennial audit conducted by BSI. The current certificate number 545425 expires on 3/4/2012.

It is the responsibility of all personnel to implement and integrate the requirements of these procedures into our day to day operations and to ensure that all significant processes are clearly defined and documented. LMT Surgical ensures that it is the responsibility of the Quality Manager to monitor the effectiveness of the management systems through regular management reviews and audits of the system.

LMT Surgical utilises its own management system, compliant with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems – Requirements' to offer our assurance of meeting our customers needs. All LMT Surgical employees are committed to performing their role in accordance with the requirements of this system.

Feedback is always sought from clients and is formally measured, analysed and reported at monthly staff meetings for actioning. This feedback is used as an input into continuous improvement of products and services.

We will obtain and uphold certification under this standard so that:

  • Our customers can always have confidence in us that we are meeting and/or exceeding their expectations
  • Our personnel understand and follow the quality standards we desire
  • Our suppliers know our expectations of them
  • We know how effectively we are achieving our business and quality objectives
  • We can continually improve our system and performance
